The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) Enlighten Europe Conference ran alongside the this years exhibition. Visitor were able to hear from those at the forefront of the lighting industry, giving them the chance to be educated, network and debate the hot topics in lighting design and manufacture today.

 

This year’s conference was designed to give you a unique insight into the very latest in lighting, from urban, retail, and animation, through to the development of world leading environments. Plus, this year The ARC Show secured an exclusive new interactive feature for the show.

 

We know urban lighting solutions are at the very forefront of both environmental and social agendas. At the Urban lighting Showcase visitors were able to view the latest products and solutions for street, park, mixed use public space and public buildings at this dedicated urban lighting area. They were also able to gain inspiration from Kromis-Bis, Fastaso, Scolmore and Elstead Lighting.

 

The key role of lighting within a retail environment is to create a real impact; our Retail Lighting Showcase, sponsored by Retail Focus magazine delivered inspiration through innovative approaches to create signature designs using the latest technologies, all the while focusing on reducing energy consumption, costs and carbon footprints.

 

Leading suppliers and manufacturers recreated, especially for The ARC Show, unique retail environments allowing visitors to see first-hand how the effective use of light within these settings can create jaw-dropping displays, sure to give your business the wow factor and keep you ahead of your competitors.
